Call for papers

 

We invite academics, researchers, lecturers and students to present their research papers in the 10th P&D Design 2012.

Two types of papers will be accepted:

Full paper (15.000 a 25.000 characters);
Undergraduate research paper (5.000 a 10.000 characters).

The full papers have to present original research and development results. The research should preferably be already completed or nearing conclusion. If a paper is selected, it must be presented orally during the event.

The undergraduate research paper must present research outcomes either from scientific, technological or innovative areas. This category is for undergraduate students or those who have recently finished their BA courses.

Scientific papers concern theoretical, methodological, and empirical work in any Design related topic. Researchers are invited to submit a proposal for a paper presentation. Members of the Program Committees will review the proposals submitted. The poster presenting can be a final review indicating that paper did not achieve fully the requirements for submitting the Tecnhical Sessions, should be presented in Poster session.

Posters work better when they are rich in terms of images, photos or schemes. The poster board surface area is 100cm (high) x 90cm (wide). Each poster accepted will have available a space of 100cm (39”) height X 90cm (35”) width. The posters will be mounted on poster boards (one poster per board). Presenters can mount multiple single sheets of paper, larger posters, pictures, or any printed materials on the boards. Please note that equipment needed for demonstration is the responsibility of the author. Construct the poster to include the title, the author(s), affiliation(s), and a description of the research, highlighting the major elements that are covered in the abstract.
